A group of people with reduced mobility created the 'Manda2' project, an initiative that gave the Provenza neighborhood (MedellÃn) another face.
It seems that the ingenuity of the paisas has no limits, a fact that is demonstrated in MartÃn Londoño Uribe, a resident of the Provenza neighborhood, who took advantage of his entrepreneurship to see a more positive face to life. This 30-year-old man from Antioquia suffers from a disability due to a spinal cord injury that caused him to become paraplegic as a result of a traffic accident he had when he was 18 years old.
Due to these circumstances, MartÃn decided to design his own vehicle that would allow him to move more easily in an area that is not prepared for people with disabilities.
Hence the idea of building their own company and generating employment for those with reduced mobility. Today, this tireless worker, along with his work team, is recognized for his effectiveness in delivering homes, not only in Provence but also in various neighborhoods of commune 14.
